Meet Aurora – the heart behind this journey
I want to introduce you to Aurora, the reason I started this. We’re a family who loves to travel, but travel hasn’t always been easy for us.
Aurora is visually impaired and neurodivergent. She was born with microphthalmia in her right eye, of which she has no vision. She has a diagnosis of Autism, and ADHD. Together, we’ve travelled to many countries, and along the way we’ve learned a lot about what travelling with a SEND child can really be like.
We’ve been there.The anxiety.The meltdowns.The overwhelm and exhaustion.The embarrassment in public.That horrible feeling that you’ve wasted money on a trip that just hasn’t gone to plan.
And honestly… it’s hard.
Out of those experiences, this business was born. Not just as a travel agent, but as a supportive service for SEND families who want to explore the world without feeling alone or judged.
I get it because I live it.
